My personal favorite is a tour of the Looganlage, the Weinbiet house to Neustadt (approx. 18 km). From Neustadt back by train to Deidesheim on demand.
And then there’s a very different kind of hiking, which is the modern version of pilgrimages.
For the Palatinate there is not only the way to Santiago di Compostella, the Camino, but also the Sternenweg (Way of the Stars) as a special expression of a new connection with France. .
